Mesotrione is a broad - spectrum,

contact herbicide. Control annual
broad-leaved weeds in maize field
before or after bud (100-225
g/hm2) or after bud (70-150
g/hm2). Such as Xanthium
strumarium, Ambrosia trifida,
Abutilon Theophrasti,
Chenopodium, Amaranthus and
Polygonum SPP., and can control
some weeds in corn field.
It is especially effective against
sulfonylurea resistant weeds
