The Sindh Emergency Rescue Service (SERS) 1122 is a state-of-the-art, cost-free rescue service that operates throughout Sindh. It functions as a uniform cadre force, with its members receiving comprehensive training from an internationally certified rescue academy situated in Punjab. The training program spans a duration of 5 to 6 months, ensuring that every member is adequately prepared before joining the service. Upon completion of the training, each rescuer possesses the skills necessary to handle exceptionally challenging situations. This includes responding to accidents, trauma emergencies, car and bus crash extrications, transporting critically ill patients to nearby hospitals with medical interventions, addressing building collapses, conducting water and flood rescues, performing deep well rescues, engaging in height and building fire rescues and evacuations, and managing aviation and railway accidents similar to the Nawabshah Incident. In essence, SERS 1122 is equipped to manage a wide array of both natural and man-made disasters. Sindh Emergency Service Rescue 1122 is currently expanding its operations across major districts of Sindh and along main highways and motorways. On a daily basis, the central command and control Centre receives an average of 7000 to 10000 emergency calls. Rescue service available in Sindh province, which every individual can avail.
