TAMSAN Founded in Ankara in 1980, TAMSAN Compressor, with 45 years of industrial experience, is among Turkey's established manufacturers of industrial compressed air. Beginning with the production of piston compressors and spare parts, this journey has transformed into a significant success story over time, thanks to deepening engineering capabilities, modernization of production infrastructure, and expansion of the product portfolio. TAMSAN, located on a 7,200 m² plot in Ankara's Başkent Organized Industrial Zone, manufactures over 50 different types of compressors with its own design at its own production facility. Its product range includes screw compressors, as well as piston, silo, booster, and mobile diesel compressor solutions. Furthermore, by producing air tanks, a critical component of compressed air systems, at its own facilities, it provides its customers with a comprehensive solution. TAMSAN is the only domestic manufacturer capable of producing its own screw compressor assembly. Energy efficiency is at the heart of TAMSAN's technology focus. It is the first company in Turkey to produce servo-motor-driven, highly energy-efficient compressors. With over 10 years of experience in this field, it has achieved market leadership in this segment. In 2025, a new era began at TAMSAN with the acquisition of a majority stake by an investor group and simultaneous capital investment. This step created strong momentum for the company to continue its growth on a more corporate, sustainable, and scalable basis. The goals for this new era are to increase capacity, make production processes more efficient, bring new and innovative products to market faster, strengthen brand awareness both domestically and internationally, and achieve more systematic growth in exports. Today, the company, which regularly exports to over 25 countries with its TAMSAN and Wendel brands, aims to further expand its global reach through strong distributor partnerships in the right markets.
