Priva is a company of Dutch origin, which was founded in 1959. Since 1983 Priva produces and develops hardware and software for building automation. Priva has nine offices worldwide and has been active in the UK since 1986. In 2003, Priva UK’s activities were extended with solutions for building automation. Although the office is located in Watford, Hertfordshire, we have local presence with business development managers across the country to servethe entire UK and Ireland market. Priva solutions for building automation are being used in offices, hotels, hospitals and schools, but also in industrial environments and data centres. During the lifecycle of a building, Priva contributes to sustainability, welfare and efficiency and the reduction of the ‘total costs of ownership’. From an integrated environment, buildings are efficiently maintained and managed. The engineering application cont ains a wide range of standardised, freely configurable control modules. Amongst others, there are modules for heating, cooling, ventilation, thermal storage, and legionella indication. These modules make the engineering fast and easy. Once a project is defined in TC Engineer, the software automatically generates graphics for PC operation, settings and browser controls, control software and display operation, documentation, descriptions of the installation and BACnet conversions. For the end user, operating the system is easy and simple because of the graphical user interface of TC Manager.
